Scope of Work
Solution
BBD managed the project start to finish on the client’s behalf, constructed the new home and liaised with the local council for inspections and consenting. Shahn Bragg acted as Project Manager for the client who was living in Australia. This involved managing communications and working through each item of the project without onsite meetings. Shahn consistently kept the client informed through regular online and phone meetings and sharing progress photos throughout the duration of the project. Saving the current house via its removal meant that it was important to carefully manage the process to mitigate any potential damage to the road and kerbside. BBD organised and managed the following subcontracted works: Tiling, painting, carpet layering, plumbing and electrical.
“As a client it was very good to deal with the Bragg Building team. They kept us informed throughout the build with very good detail for progress payments to be made. We could trust Bragg Building to make great suggestions and ideas for layout and design. Bragg Building were also willing to challenge our ideas to ensure the best outcome for the build. Communication exceeded all expectations with the end product being next to none in fine workmanship.”

Outcome
The build was completed on time and to a very high standard, generating significant buyer interest. As a result of the quality of the build, the client was able to sell the house within one week of completion, well above the initial asking price.
